MUTLU CANKUP

Mutlu Cankup began his ballet training in 2001 with the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Children's Ballet. He later completed his undergraduate education at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory Ballet Department, graduating with an Honor Certificate.

Throughout his career, he has participated in masterclass programs with world-renowned instructors both domestically and internationally, competed in international ballet competitions, and choreographed for various organizations and children's musicals.

After graduating from the conservatory in 2013, he continued his professional dance career at the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet. His teaching career began in 2009, and he has since taught ballet at various schools for all levels.

Since 2010, he has worked as a choreographer at Altınok Children's Theater, creating choreography for globally recognized productions such as Garfield Comedy Festival, Strawberry Live Show, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, and Winx Club Musical.

Additionally, he trained TRT Children's Choirs in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, and Trabzon, and choreographed the 11th Popular Children's Songs Competition, which was broadcast live on TRT Children's Channel in 2013.

From 2017 to 2024, he served as a Part-Time Lecturer in the Ballet Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul State Conservatory.

Since 2017, he has been the director of Private Çekmeköy Mutlu Ballet and Music School.

Since 2016, through Mutlu Dance Organization, which he founded, he has been organizing Ballet Summer Camps.
